Project Overview
Arepo, a rapidly growing peri-urban community on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, has experienced significant population growth driven by proximity to Lagos and the presence of industrial facilities and residential estates along the corridor. As the community expanded, the need for a properly constructed central mosque became urgent. The Arepo Community Muslim Society engaged Envostructs to design and construct the Arepo Central Mosque — a community-funded project combining professional engineering with grassroots construction. The completed mosque serves as the primary Friday prayer and Eid gathering point for the Arepo Muslim community, providing a dignified, well-ventilated, and permanent worship space.
