Project Overview
The Mile 12–Ikorodu Road is one of Lagos State's most heavily trafficked arterial corridors, connecting the iconic Mile 12 International Market — one of West Africa's largest commodity markets for food and agricultural produce — through the northern Lagos mainland to Ikorodu town. The road serves millions of daily commuters and is a critical supply route for produce traders. Envostructs was engaged to provide independent quality control and safety supervision on the World Bank-funded rehabilitation works, ensuring the contractor's outputs met international standards before drawdown of World Bank financing. World Bank-funded projects carry stringent procurement, QA, and Environmental and Social Safeguards requirements, all of which Envostructs managed through its resident supervision team.
